Our Commercial Meat Goats are made of several breeds for 1 purpose, meat production! We have been very careful in selecting goats for our commercial herd. In the herd we have influences from breeds such as: Myotonic, TexMaster, Brush, Kiko, Savannah and Boer. In selecting our goats we were not fixed on one breed as I feel there are benefits you can use from several breeds in a commercial herd.

Our goats need them to do and be a few things:

1.     Survive on there own with little assistance from us

2.     Be very hardy

3.     Be great mothers & producers

4.     Be Parasite resistant

5.     And grow to make money

Basically we want these goats to do everything on Grass, Hay, Water and Mineral with almost no grain being feed to them. If a doe is not an “easy keeper”, she has a one way ticket off of the farm and on to someone’s plate. We do not believe in selling stock for breeders that we wouldn’t keep and use ourselves.
